Meet Tamara
Reiki Practitioner, Spiritual Teacher, and Psychic
I am Tamara, I was born in Brazil in August 1985. I was raised in an amazing family that was very spiritual and I was very lucky to start my spiritual journey and development very early in life. I come from a long line of women with psychic and mediumship abilities. Growing up as a sensitive empath I always felt myself very different from most of my friends but for me it was in a good way. I felt I was always older in thoughts and mind than other people my age. I felt like I had some knowledge about spirituality that definitely came with me from other past lives. Growing up, I always felt the need to help others every way I could. I have always had a natural way to provide help and support to friends, family and people around me. Somehow I just had the knowing of how to help each specific individual with exactly what they needed my help with. Later on, I learned that these abilities are known as Clairsentience and Claircognizance. I believe that we all have the connection and memories from the other side until the age of 5, and even our whole life if we want to. When I was young, I had memories of seeing beings of light, and later on my grandma shared with me things that I saw when I would visit and stay with her. I believe we all have the ability to communicate with the other side. We just need to learn how to trust, listen, believe and have confidence in our abilities to be able to receive messages by paying attention to signs, symbols and synchronicities and not just rushing through life. I believe the other side is always trying to help us so we just have to listen carefully. We are spiritual beings having a physical experience.
Life took me down the path of helping people in a different way through another passion of mine. After living in Brazil for 23 years of my life, I decided to follow a long time dream of mine to study and live abroad. Even though it has been hard and very challenging to be far from my whole family and to step outside of my comfort zone everyday, it has been so rewarding and worth it to get to know humbly how strong I have become and who I really am. That is how I started on my path of studying Exercise Science and Technology to become a Personal Trainer and later on a Pilates Instructor where I could help people achieve their goals and make them happy about how they feel when their body and health changed for better. Working for 5 years as a Personal Trainer I loved every second of my career, especially all my amazing clients whom I adore and still keep in contact. It was an amazing experience, I grew so much as a person and as a professional. I was very happy to see so many of my client's amazing results which will stay with me forever. I just knew inside of me that my soul was not 100% balanced and happy; something was missing. That is when I felt drawn back to my amazing spiritual experiences I had when I was younger. During one of my meditation practices, I asked my guides for clarity and my thoughts started to fill up with ideas of starting on a new path to help people not just with their body but with body, mind and spirit. That is when I decided to become a Reiki Master and Spiritual Teacher. As an empath and psychic, and now developing my mediumship, these will complement my Reiki career to give me more insight and allow me to be better able to help my clients. I am lucky to be the instrument and vessel for my spiritual guides, angels, my loved ones and all beings of light to do their work through me. I have loved every second of working as a Reiki Practitioner! To hear my client's feedback about how Reiki has changed their lives for better makes me the happiest person in this world.
With my degree and background as a Personal Trainer I have been able to apply my skills and knowledge to my new path as a Reiki practioner, spiritual teacher and psychic. My knowledge of anatomy and psychology combined with my understanding of the chakras used in my Reiki practice has helped me better understand the connection between body, mind and spirit which helps me send the energy to where my clients need help the most.
I was introduced to Reiki by my Mom who is a Reiki Master. I'm thankful that my Mom and Dad raised me in a spiritual environment which helped me to develop my spirituality early in life. As a child in school, I was always very nervous about taking tests and would have a hard time concentrating. My Mom would perform Reiki on me before school on the day of a test and I remember feeling much more calm and able to concentrate. Reiki really helped me improve in school. Then after a motorcycle accident that disabled me from walking for 3 months, my Mom would perform Reiki on me daily. I couldn’t imagine how long my recovery would have been if I didn’t have my Mom with her magical, miracle Reiki hands to minimize my pain and speed up my healing. From these experiences, I learned and developed a great passion for Reiki and helping others to feel the amazing energy of Reiki and how it can really heal and do miracles!
I am a Reiki practitioner and psychic offering in-studio, in-home, distance Reiki sessions, and psychic readings through the phone. I even offer Reiki for animals, babies and kids! Gift cards are available for you to give the amazing gift of Reiki to your loved ones. I have my Reiki Master Usui/Holy Fire training. I also have Reiki training for animals and communication. I am from Brazil and have been living in Michigan since 2009. I speak Portuguese and English.

What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It was discovered by Mikao Usui. Reiki is administered by the hands with light touch or no touch. Techniques such as this have been practiced for thousands of years. Reiki is a very simple yet powerful technique. It can never cause harm because it is guided by spiritual consciousness. It always knows what a person needs and will adjust itself to create an effect that is appropriate.

“This was my first Reiki experience so I had no clue what to expect. I told Tamara that I'd been experiencing frequent headaches and upper back pain.
